Did you know.....
....That IDH offer a Work Placement Scheme over the summer? We are keen to offer dental students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of working in practice. By participating in the scheme, you will benefit from the following:
- Gaining experience of different types of patients
- Learning from broader clinical experience
- Observing dentistry in a practice setting
- Observing the benefits of team working
- Learning more about working with a dental body corporate
- Gaining a greater understanding of the NHS system and UDAs
- Gaining greater confidence, awareness and a sense of your own training requirements
We will be at dental school events throughout the year, in addition to attending large scale events such as the Dental showcase so do come and talk to us. You may also have seen posters around your dental school. If you are interested in applying for the scheme or perhaps just finding out more, please complete the form at the bottom of the page. In some cases we can also offer placements at different times throughout the academic year so it's worth getting in touch....
Did you know....
....That IDH get involved in a range of events at dental schools? This includes sponsorship of annual and graduate balls, final year student prizes and other events during the academic year. We also attend careers talks and trade fairs to let students know what it is like to work for a dental corporate.
